Beta Program

What is a beta program?

A beta program is for real users, like you, to test a product before it is released to a broad audience. The purpose of beta testing is to uncover the journey of how you experience the product, what falls short, and what excels. In other words, your experiences and feedbacks serve as a building block of Zeppelin One - Busines Intelligence Dashboards.

Once you join our beta program, you have early access to our latest features, and we will gather your feedback by interviewing you or periodical surveys.

What does Zeppelin offer, and how does it work in the beta program?

As a beta user, you have early access to our latest features. Moreover, you can download our Zeppelin One app and use it for free during beta testing.

Zeppelin One is a business intelligence dashboard. It gathers the intelligence from Zeppelin’s video cameras. Then, it presents the information in dashboards to help you understand what's going on with your business, whether storefronts, offices, or public gathering spaces.

You can browse summarized dashboard reports of your business activities and gauge your operational performance. For example, you can find out what drives your business sales and customer visits, like weather or nearby events, and better prepare for spikes.

During beta testing, we will send surveys or invite you to periodical interviews. The purpose is to learn what business insights matter to you the most and your journey to experience Zeppelin One. Your feedback and contributions drive our direction of future development.

How much does it cost to join Zeppelin's beta program?

To use Zeppelin One, you need to install a Zeppelin camera. We offer our beta users the flagship model, X1-8D, at the cost of $350.

X1-8D is equipped with one of American’s most advanced video processors, featuring Deep Neural Network for processing image detection, classification, and more. In addition, with its dedicated onboard computer vision processor, it can compute several sophisticated Artificial Intelligence models with ease.

X1-8D comes with a 3X optical motorized lens to view more details and enhance A.I. performance. Furthermore, it is weatherproof, vandal-proof, and records up to 14 days on its onboard industrial-grade MicroSD card optimized for high endurance and longevity.

The first 50 qualified beta users get a free X1-8D. So don’t hesitate and contact us now.

Enable/Disable 2-Factor Authentication

2-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds another layer of security to protect your account from unauthorized login. With 2FA enabled, logging into your account requires your password and an additional code. This other code is a one-time passcode texted to your phone.

  • To enable 2FA for your account.
    1. Open the Zeppelin app and sign in.
    2. Click My Profile at the top right.
    3. Switch ON 2-Factor Authentication.
    4. You will be prompted to add a phone number.
    5. Tap VERIFY, and you will receive a message texted to the phone number you entered.
    6. Enter the six-digit verification code to complete the setup.

  • To disable 2FA for your account.
    1. Open the Zeppelin 1 app and sign in.
    2. Tap My Profile at the top right.
    3. Switch OFF 2-Factor Authentication.

Add or remove trusted devices.

When you enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), you will be asked for a verification code each time you sign in. If you don’t want to enter a verification code on the devices you frequently use to sign in, mark your computers or mobile device as Trusted Devices. With Trusted Devices, you can skip entering a verification code when you sign in.

  • Add trusted devices
    1. Open your favorite browser on your computer or open the app on your mobile devices.
    2. Sign in to your Zeppelin account.
    3. When you are prompted to enter a verification code, check “Trust this device and don’t ask me for a code.”
  • Remove trusted devices

    2. Click My Profile at the top right.
    3. Review the list of trust device(s).
    4. Click the Delete icon next to the device you wish to remove.

When you remove a device from Trusted Devices, the device will be forced to log out of your account. If you need to sign in from this device, you’ll be asked for a verification code after signing in with your email and password.

You’re asked for a 2FA verification code on a trusted device

Sometimes you might be asked for a 2FA verification code even though you checked the box to "Trust this device and don’t ask me for a code.” This is because you are using different browsers from your computer, or your browser, like Chrome or Firefox, doesn’t have cookies enabled or is set to delete cookies after a certain period.

If you don’t want to enter a 2FA verification code, try these tips:

  1. First, edit your browser’s cookie settings. You can either set your browser to save cookies or add an exception for Zeppelin Account cookies by adding [*.]gozeppelin.com.
  1. Turn off incognito mode. Incognito windows can't use cookies from other browser sessions on your computer. To sign in, open a non-incognito window.
  2. Check "Trust this device and don’t ask me for a code" for each different browser that you use on the computer and adjust their cooking settings.
